I am having a horrible time finding socks and shoes that feel relatively ok on my feet. Any suggestions? Looking forward to the new family here!Theresa in NY Hi Theresa, My RSD started in my right lower leg. NOTHING could touch it or I would go through the ceiling!!!!!!! All of my docs know that the only way to touch it is if I am under general anesthesia. I always have to wear ace wraps on my leg so nothing touches it. I was in casts, boots, all kinds of orthotics. I did not wear a shoe on that leg for over four years. I just take things as they go now, I can put a shoe on but still have my leg covered with ace wraps. Just cant stand anything touching it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope this helps, Take care, Love Jai Maybe try wrapping it before you put on the socks/shoes.
