Kori,

Do you mean that there are new straps available from Markell already

which are 'longer' and backed with vinyl to prevent too much

stretching? Or would we be getting replacements of the same straps

that we already have on the shoes, which means repeating the

problems of struggling with the short straps and stretching. If

they are an improved version, it's probably a good idea for us to

order new straps before they stretch too much or break! We were

told by Dr Ponseti that the straps are the most important component

for holding the foot in the shoe firmly to prevent any slipping, so

it's important that they are always working as they should.

hello,

When we ordered the new Markell shoes from Iowa last month, the

Orthotist told us they have the newest style. Thus, if Markell made

the strap longer they should have it. I remember asking this because

of some messages here. But we got short annoying straps. It is hard

for me to believe that it is longer than anything else.

Melitsa, can I ask you to write here if the Markell company will

send you a new strap? If so I would ask them too. thanks.
