Guest guest
Well, I am glad to know that I am not just hypercritical of the AFO. What a piece of junk. Kaitlin has slept in her DBB 2 nights in a row now. We had to leave it off tonight though. Even after having it off all day her heel is still red...bummer. I am going to email Dr. P if someone would please tell me how and what angles to take pics of her feet at. I might try to get in with Dr. Frick if possible. His receptionist was a real biddy to me. She was not helpful at all. The way the clinic runs really blows my mind. I guess it can't hurt to see what he says though. As for " wait and see, " her doctor was implying that it might stay corrected without further treatment. Not a chance I am willing to take though! Thanks for all of your help. Guest guest
: I came in at the end of this conversation and am not sure what is going on. But, I can tell you how to get ahold of Dr. Frick. You can call this number for his clubfoot clinic. or call at They will get you in. Let me know if you have trouble and I can give you his email directly. I just helped get another family on the board in with him in a few days. He is very accommodating. Re: Re: Kaitlin's AFO Pics > Well, I am glad to know that I am not just hypercritical of the AFO. Guest guest
" I am going to email Dr. P if someone would please tell me how and what angles to take pics of her feet at. " Sorry no one answered this for you yesterday! Get your husband to help you and have her 'stand' - that is one of you support her while she bears weight on her feet - and take photos from the front, back and sides. Then take a photo of the bottom of her foot. Also make sure to include photos of any sore areas and note that they are on her NON-clubfoot. Dr Ponseti should be able to help you from those. Guest guest
Another thought, take pictures from above showing the angle of the shoes just in case there is any issue there.
