Guest guest
Hi. My name is nne Weber. I am a speech-language pathologist. I use Visualize-Verbalize and the LIPS programs in my private practice very successfully. VV helps a child learn how to focus on the main idea of a sentence and later story, to put the elements of a story together cohesively. LIPS is a speech as well as decoding program which teaches the child to use visual and tactile-kinesthetic cues to speak and to decode intelligibly. I hope that this helps. Both programs really work .
Guest guest
Which LMB program are you considering? We have done their clinic twice and find it the best reading remediation out there.
Guest guest
We've used their Visualizing & Verbalizing curriculum program to work on comprehension. We did not use their clinic service, but rather bought the curriculum book and used it intensively at home. It was helpful but I did have to adapt it some and it was limited in how far it would go. A child needs to be very verbal/conversational to be able to begin this program. Their testing was very comprehensive. Gaylen
