Guest guest
Hi everyone! I hope you are having as great a weather as we are down here in Louisiana. I have a question. My ten yr old, Cade, is being weaned off of Prednisone. He is on 10 mg every other day, before that he was on 20 mg every other day and so on. His next step is off completely....the last day on Pred. is April 26. The past week he has been having terrible headaches. He describes them saying " it feels like his heart is in his head " . Last weekend he was with me and he became nauseaus with one of these headaches. His blood pressure was good. Sounds like a migraine. Could the weaning of Prednisone be causing these headaches? And if not, do you think its related to IgA/drugs at all? Thanks, Angel
Guest guest
AFib is usually brought on by the WPW short circuit. Millions of people around the world have lived with same conditions for years and been fine. I know all of this have can be very unnerving, but it will be okay. I've had AFib for 7 years with PVCs and PACs along with random bouts of SVT. If it were anything life threatening, you would've already been in an EP lab. Life threatening arrhythmias are accompanied by severe pain, shortness of breath, and make you pass out. I'm also a bit of a night owl, so if I'm at the computer I'll respond. I see words like sudden cardiac death that are combined with WPW and VPA, or TPA. I have a four year old who needs his mother. Except for this stupid arrhythmia, I love my life. > > I know there are no guarantee's in life, but God, Thursday is far off, I feel like I am ticking time bomb, who can't lay down for fear it will occur. > > Anyone clue me in on my diagnoses? > > Marna > >

I've come to accept that I don't fit neatly into either category. My pain is IN the vestibule, always on contact, and sometimes for no reason at all. My doc says it's vestibulitis. I'm not sure it matters for treatment, does it? Maybe it does and I just don't know. Becky Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo! Small Business gives you all the tools to get online.
