Guest guest
Thanks, . What's discouraging is that I lost 21 pounds the first month and then 6 pounds the second month. Since then it just doesn't seem to want to budge more than a pound or two a month. I'm dying to break the 200 mark! I stay in ketosis so that's not the problem. My DH is on it with me and he cheats like crazy - and still loses weight! I'm happy with this WOL, though, and I'm glad that to see the scale moving in a downward direction, however slowly. I started exercising regularly a few weeks ago and know that it will make a difference...eventually. Lynne 232.5/202.5/150 5/10/01 > Lynne, from your sig line I'd say you are doing great! Guest guest
Your exercising maybe creating muscle which weighs more than fat! There are others on this list much more knowledgeable than me in that area. Are you losing inches? I measure my self at least once a month the last time I measured I had lost about 14 total inches from waist, bust, thigh, etc. and aprox 30 pounds from April to Aug... It is almost time to measure again, but I haven't been entirely on plan the past couple of weekends :-( in TN268/224/140?Thanksgiving goal 200Dec/Christmas goal/ 194.5/140? Guest guest
1-2 lbs a month is about average for me. Make sure you aren't :Cheating " . If not, then try starting (or kicking up) your exercise program. Include weight/strength training as well as aerobics, if you don't already. It will take time (6-8 weeks), but your weight loss rate should increase as you build strength and muscle. In general, men lose easier than women. It's just one of those unfair facts of life that you can't do much about. Weight training helps, by building muscle which is part of the advantage, but the hormonal balance is different and in this case favors the male of the species. > > Lynne, from your sig line I'd say you are doing great! Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I measure monthly and the numbers are slowly decreasing so I haven't stalled, just slowed. Guest guest
Thanks, . I don't cheat anymore than an extra few macadamias now and then. I'm thinking of cutting back on dairy - I can't get enough cheese and whipped cream. For exercise I walk daily and have recently tried to do some yoga (it's tough!) Guest guest
Deep breath. Sometimes we all get to scrappin', but it passes Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. T www.vitalady.com If you are interested in PayPal, please click here: https://secure.paypal.com/affil/pal=vitalady%40bigfoot.com Thank you I want to thank whoever it was that posted the recipe for pumpkin pie recipe protein shake. I tried it for dinner tonight and it was delicious. I also want to comment on how nice it is to come to a site where everyone is so supportive, positive and loving. I had a very upsetting experience with a site unrelated to WLS today and it just made me realize how special this and other WLS related sites are.
