Guest guest Posted July 16, 2004 Report Share Posted July 16, 2004 spent the night away from home for the first time last night But I'm glad, he was so excited to do it. I went over and put his shoes on lastnight before bed (he spent the night with Mamaw and Papaw). He woke up about 4:30 complaining to my mom that one of his shoes was really hurting him so she took it off. She started to take off the other shoe and he said no that one doesn't hurt. So he must have been hurting (this is also the shortest time period he's ever worn his shoes at night). She checked it this morning and all around his big toenail is red like he has an ingrown toenail. It doesn't have any yellow or white pus or anything, it's just red kinda angry looking. I don't know if I should take his to his pediatrician or what. I would just wait and watch it, but I'm afraid it's going to cause a problem with him wearing his shoes because his shoes push right against the side of his big toe.
