Guest guest
I am far from being pg, but I do want to try soon. My problem is that I'm afraid I will not be able to have a child I so desire. I'm 32, seven months post-op, and have seizures that are controlled with medication. I did a search yesterday online about dilantin and pregnancy and was scared by what I read. I see my neurgologist and ob/gyn on 8/7, but I'm going crazy not knowing and would really like some reassurance that it will be possible. I'm guessing, if it's possible, I'll have to wait at least one cycle before we can TTC. That's fine...my husband will help me however he can so we can make this possible. He's also seven months post-op. Before WLS he never thought he would be a Dad because of his weight. Now it's possible. Well, if I can carry a baby full term. A few nights ago I dreamed that I was having twins. Of course that is the ultimate to me! It was a complete surprise too! I had delivered one and thought it was over when the dr. said you're not done, there is another one coming. A boy and a girl...I cried. LOL!! Welcome to the newcomers and Congratulations to those who are pg! I hope to join you all soon!! Jeri Lap RNY 12/10/02 -112lbs
