Guest guest
I also take plaquenil... as I am sorely afraid of marginal ulcers....after experiencing one .. and having that one to perforate.. most painful.. Hugs, PS.... My marginal ulcer, however, wasnt the result of taking nsaids....
Guest guest
I'm in the medical field and I have never heard of Plaquenil! Hmmm...it is a new drug? Does it have another name? Honestly, my biggest fear in having WLS is giving up anti-inflammatories, due to headaches and back pain. I know the back pain will subside as I lose weight...but the headaches don't care how fat I am! And I am one of those lucky people for whom Tylenol does *absolutely nothing*. Thanks, Laurie W. Guest guest
Jane, He pulled me off the Vioxx and basically I just take tylenol now unless my pain is really bad then I go in for a shot of cort. I'm still taking meds to help heal my ulcer, he wants me on it for at least 8 months, then he'll do another scope and make sure all is well. We both believe that I had an allergic reaction to it. I had mouth ulcers as well. Guest guest
Tonia, Thanks for all the great ideas! Believe it or not, I have never heard of any of these before and never really had a problem with fleas or ticks before. I think it could be because of where I am living and of course the Beverly Hill s that live next door and do not know what the word clean is! I just cannot believe what those poor fuzzy little girls go through when they have them. I have spent the last three days killing myself to make the house immaculate and to make sure I have no more Fleas. Mom was here for pizza tonight and we watched the new Harry Potter movie. The house looked good and it was the first time Mom got to see it decorated and she loved it as much as I do this year!!! It is the first time in many years, that I went crazy decorating!!! Just wanted to feel good this year and have the house look really nice. I will take pictures for all to see. Well I hope you are doing well and getting ready for the Holidays without going crazy! I am going to Moms on Monday and put up her Christmas Village for her. It is an amazing Village and bought her more pieces this year for Christmas. She is going to have to put an addition on her house if it gets any larger!!! Wednesday I have to go to Albany to see an IME again. That should be wonderful and cannot wait to here what he says. He is a pain management doctor, so he should see what is going on and be on my side I hope! He is over an hour away, so my Aunt is going to take my mother and I. Please say a prayer for me and wish me luck. Take Care and Hope that all is well with you and your family! Please keep me updated on how you are doing. If you put baking soda in your vacuum cleaner bag, it will kill any animal odors that you vacuum up........or you can also put like baby powder in it or carpet powder in it too and have a fresh smell in it all the time. I really feel for your furry babies........we had fleas in our house really bad in August/September and had to bomb the house 3 times before we even got half of them gone! I swear, we'd bomb the house and they'd triple instead of die! grrrrrrrr. It ended up taking 5 times of bombing before we could finally get rid of all of the fleas in the house. OH! Another little trick to do to get rid of some that hides when the bombs go off..... At night when you go to bed, turn your TV on to a channel that is white and fuzzy (nothing on it) and leave it on all night. Then, on the floor in front of it, put a WHITE Bowl filled with water and DAWN DISH SOAP down and leave it on the floor all night (make sure the cat and dog are shut up in a different area)....and you will be Surprised about how many fleas you'll find floating in that bowl in the morning when you wake up!!!!!! Good luck......and poor Holly.......she'll freeze her poor little knee's off going outside without any fur just to go potty! Tonia
