Guest guest
I am happy for you Sunita. It is good to drink LOTS of water! Take care! Have a good journey home and post again. Jude done! with De Smet HI everyone I had BHR on my right hip on the 6 of January in Gent with De Smet. It went Ok but I lost too much blood and had to have 3 packs of blood transfusion which put me one day behind for the recovery, and I had to stay one extra day in the hospital. So yesterday I arrived in the Holiday Inn and today is day 5 and I am starting to have moments where I feel a bit more human! I also had an allergy to the bandage ie a 2nd degree burn in three little spots on my butt. Yan treated that last night very nicely but I hope it heals fast. My sister is here helping me and she is busy .... I dont'think I would manage without her. I am also experiencing a constant thirst and am drinking liters if not gallons of water (maybe cause of the blood loss??) did anyone experience that too? Anyway I am getting tired here but thanks to all the good advices that were perfect, no big surprises and yes really everyone is great at the hospital around De Smet and he is so nice. I really feel in good hands. looking forward to feel more clear in my head and send more intellingent info! Guest guest
Congratulations!! I knew it would turn out okay. Your sister is pretty sensational. I'm not so thirsty as you so I guess it's probably the blood loss - but then our bodies do vary. Guest guest
Hello Sunita Welcome to the " other side " ... I think that " human feeling " will continue to improve and I won't be surprised if you feel up to experiencing some of the fine restaurants downtown in a day or two. Don't forget that the taxi is free week nights and weekends...ask the hotel personnel. Keep us informed Alan RBHR DeSmet 12Nov03 > HI everyone > I had BHR on my right hip on the 6 of January in Gent with De Smet. > It went Ok but I lost too much blood and had to have 3 packs of blood > transfusion which put me one day behind for the recovery, and I had > to stay one extra day in the hospital. > So yesterday I arrived in the Holiday Inn and today is day 5 and I am > starting to have moments where I feel a bit more human!
