Guest guest
I've been MIA and not much help to you guys lately, forgive me. I am just reeling from the uterus biopsy today. He gives you a needle exactly like a dentist, Novocain, and says now, (and he has really good bedside manner, i am lucky) the first Novocain shot I give you in your cervix, (In your cervix) You'll feel it, just like at the dentist, but then the novacaine kicks in, and the second one you won't feel, that's when I'll give you the second shot. In your cervix. Then he says, look, here it is, and he comes around the sheet and shows me, this is plastic, not metal, he says, this is what i am pushing in thru your cervix into your uterus, ( to me it looks like huge heating system hose) but the Novocain only kills the pain for the cervix, you are going to feel it in the uterous, i am sorry, but there's nothing we can do about that. but i'll talk you thru it. He's really nice when he's saying this. Sorry he says, sorry sorry, you re being very brave. so i am glad i put this off and went instead to this oncology expert at st vincents who teaches this to people. instead of the green gynocologiost who 2 weeks ago told me i neeeded this, and probably has only done this five times. i am no stranger to pain, just like everyone else here. I have an emg coming up on my carpal tunnel. ive had 3 of these emgs thingys before, but now i am conflicted, i can't figure out which is worst. anyone with experince in both care to venture an opinion? hugs to everyone, gebtle ones, lesie
Guest guest
I am not sure that I understood your question. I think you asked if any of us have had a biopsy like you just did as well as the carpal tunnel right? If so I have had both, if not, could you ask that again, I am so very tired and the question just isn't sinking in for some reason. a C

Guest guest
, Oh, Honey, what a day you have had. I wish I could be there to give you a long, warm and gentle hug. Sounds like you need one. They were going to do a similar biopsy procedure on me, but I bled so badly just before it was scheduled, I ended up having a complete hysterectomy as an emergency surgery, instead. My sister recently had the procedure, but didn't tell me anything about it. Now I understand why she didn't talk about it...she is very closed mouthed about things that are so bad for her. Not a sharer, if you get my meaning. I certainly hope you get the results soon, and that it is good news. I always hate the waiting part of these things. Prayers going up for you, and I'm here anytime you want to email me. Hugs, MM
