& Tart burners

Hi ,

I have what is called an electric tart burner - I prefer them over the

traditional tart burners which you need to have a tea light candle

underneath to heat the tart itself. Too much fire going on for me =)

Anyway a tart is a candle minus the wick. A tart burner melts the tart

candle and therefore sends off a wonderful scent.

I prefer Yankee Candles as they have the best scents and last the longest.

You can also do a web search to look at different electric tart burners

online as Yankee only offers 1. They carry a ton of the regular tart burners

but I just have a fear of them because I would be afraid I would fall asleep

with the tea light burning and burn my home down. I can fall asleep with the

electric one and not worry - but the regular tart burners are much cuter

than the traditional electric ones.

I swear by Yankee candles and have been giving them away for gifts for a

year now and everyone who has received them fall in love with the scent and

such =)

Hope this helps - the candles (not the tarts) are a little expensive but

they last soooo long and the scent is always the same where other candles

they scent wears off. I currently have a 3.7 oz jar in my computer room

and light it everyday each time I am at the computer and it has lasted for

well over a year and it still smells like the first day I got it.

Yankee candle has 2 of the small ones on sale for like $6.00 in the fresh

cut roses scent and I want to say French vanilla or something like that.

Might be something you might want to try to see if you will like Yankee

candle or not. I personally love em' even hubby has Yankee candle scents for

the car hanging from the rear view mirror in his big rig and car =) He is

hooked too =)

The chocolate chip cookie scent makes u think fresh cookies just came out of

the oven and makes u hungry for one so much so that Mike had to make a batch

today... hehehehe
