Yes, but the effectiveness depends on the type of aid, its size and what

other components are in there. The T-coils can vary in size and receptive

ability. For instance, our son's old analogs had a much stronger t-coil and the

difference between those and his new aids (same manufacturer) was explained as

being due to the room available for the t-coil. I don't know how valid this

explanation is, since I'm not an engineer but it made sense to me.

Yes, they do - both my boys have telecoil settings in their hearing aids

(they have BTE aids).
