My introduction...and goals...

My name is . I am 39, and weigh in at right around 180 lbs. I

want to lost thirty lbs overall, however I want to focus on two

initial goals...more goals to follow.

1. I will go to the gym daily.

Monday...Strength and cardio

Tuesday...Cardio

Wedensday...Strength and cardio

Thursday...Cardio

Friday...Strength and Cardio

Saturday...Cardio

Sunday...Reward Swim!!!

I will keep a fitness and nutrition journal as I progress

2. I will lose 10% (18 lbs).

Welcome to the group . It is good to focus on one or two main goals,

and making those goals measurable and enough of a stretch that you feel like

you've accomplished something, but not too much of a stretch so that you

don't do it. I tend to go on the overbearing side... too lofty of goals.

Hi !!

Sounds like you have some great goals, there. I'm one of those people who

needs to work out every day, or at least six days a week. I leave Sundays

optional...I'll still get in some activity, but I don't schedule it. That

way I don't feel like I " have " to do anything in particular that day. If I

try to do three times a week or four I end up putting things off. Every day

makes it as much a part of my life as showering, brushing my teeth, and

other daily bodily maintenance thingies.

You're a swimmer? I'm becoming a swimmer after a not very happy showing in

my last triathlon. Share with me your swim workouts!
