Guest guest
Since Georgia began growth hormone 19 months ago her appetite has increased immensely. Before gh she ate hardly anything and within 2 months we noticed a considerable difference. She is still g-tube fed at night but during the day she eats enough and only has 50ml via a bolus. Georgia sees Dr Gillian at Birmingham Children's Hospital UK who is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at Birmingham University and is very experienced with RSS children. She told us that Georgia's appetite would definitely increase within a couple of months and she was 100% correct. Dr and her colleague Dr Jackie Blisset Lecturer in Psychology at Birmingham University and Dr Kirk Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist at Birmingham Children's Hospital UK published their research in 2000 entitled Feeding problems in Silver- syndrome. Best wishes
