My 5 year old has a metal crown and will begin chelation soon. I am

positive

there is no mercury under the crown. Will this crown cause a problem for

chelation? If so, we will replace it, but I'd like to avoid the trauma if

possible. Thanks.

I did not mean to say it was unsafe. Andy said that it is safe. I

just wanted to say that we preferred to avoid putting any metal in

mouth to be even safer.

If the crown is made of stainless steel, then it is

okay to chelate with this crown.

However, I don't know what sort of metal the crown

is made of -- it depends what the crown is made of.

good wishes,
