Guest guest
, There is always hope. When my guy was 4 I never thought he'd read, do math, etc.. He barely had a vocabulary. Right now, he is upstairs playing with his 5 yr old sister (he's 11) on the Game Cube. Earlier, he did his math subtraction facts, money sheet, etc.. In otherwords, HE HAS COME A LONG WAY!!! And get this -- we haven't chelated yet (that'll happen in April). , your child will grow and mature and do things that you never imagined!!!! Kelli Ann [ ] Regressing...help I wrote a couple of weeks ago about how to get rid of the clostridia.. well we increased the dose of s. bouldari and my almost 4 yo ds did fine for about a week.. and then my world shattered. I saw him do things I have never seen him do. He bit his arm, starting lining up markers and cars. the hands in the mouth came back.. totally cried for almost the whole day on Friday. He has never before bit himself or lined things up!!!! I called our doc and we stopped the s. bouldari. Every day since Friday has been a little better, but he is not yet back to his old happy self. He is still constantly chewing his fingers. My heart is broken. He was doing so well. He started reading.. and still is. Which is better, having the clostridia or losing him to the die off? Will he return to his old self soon? Could this be yeast? We just had a dysbosis urine sample done and his yeast was fine. I feel like throwing in the towel. I don't know how much more of this I can handle. He is so sensitive to noise and every time the baby does anything noisy, he screams. They play together fine unless the baby is too loud. I am grateful my ds is lost in his own world completely, but why is this so hard? Sorry, I just needed to talk with someone who knows. The diet, the supplements, the therapies, the behaviors, doctor appts, the worry, not knowing if you are doing the right thing.etc. when does it get better? Chelation is our last hope. We start the end of March. Do they regress a lot during the rounds? Thank you all for being here. I know you understand how I feel.
Guest guest
> Every day since Friday has been a little better, but he is not yet back > to his old happy self. He is still constantly chewing his fingers. For some kids, this means zinc deficiency. For one of my kids, it meant he was eating a food or supplement he did not tolerate, or he had a yeast problem. > like throwing in the towel. I don't know how much more of this I can > handle. My son is very sensitive to ANYTHING which is even slightly amiss. And once I would address one thing, something else would rise up to take its place. It was VERY frustrating. But now my son is doing much better and is not nearly so sensitive to things like he once was. It does get better, but you are right, it is very frustrating during the process. > when does it get better? Took 4 years for my son. >> Chelation is our last hope. This is what I thought. And chelation removed all his food problems, so that is good. But then something ELSE popped up, VERY frustrating. For my son, the " something else " was virus. It was the high dose vitamin A protocol and olive leaf extract which was the final step for my son's recovery http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm We start the end > of March. Do they regress a lot during the rounds? My son did not, but other kids do. He did have frequent yeast problems, which I kept under control with GSE. Good luck.
