Okay so now my question is this, is 162.5 hg/.5ml(cc) a lot. As I stated it was distributed in 8 immunizations. thanks again
Guest guest
I don't know much about mercury dosages to tell you if it is a lot or not. If it was in eight immunizations given at different times, maybe not, but I can't say for sure. As I understand, the mercury is out of the current immunizations except the flu shot but you can order one without the thimerosol. That makes no sense does it. I wish they would just make all flu shots mercury free. I dont' know what it is going to take. Back to your question about the mercury, maybe your child could not excrete the mercury no matter if it was a lot or not. I think that is what happened with my child. Take care and keep looking for answers. Kristy On Jun 4, 2004, at 11:27 PM, Beth wrote: > >> A ml is the same as a cc. I am an RN. I think that is > what happened with my child. Take care and keep looking for answers. My therapists have mentioned to me repeatedly the connection between autism and the mercury and although noone will put anything in writing they have stated that they strongly believe that to have caused if not strongly encouraged the onset of my sons autism. There has never been history of developmental delay in my or my husbands families and the only difference between my two children is that she had civilian health care, mostly single dose vial immunizations. And my son had military health care, their theory - the bigger the bottle - the cheaper - the better. And now my problem is that good, military doctors are few and far between and they only recommend speech and OT. Anything else is out of the question. So I am trying to find all the info I can. It isn't really fair that my son's condition or treatment has to suffer because my husband is in service to our country. But I guess if there was a such thing as fair we wouldn't all need this website now would we. thanks again Kristy and good luck to you too Beth

As I > stated it was distributed in 8 immunizations. > > thanks again I don't think I know what " a lot " is either. I do think that INJECTING mercury makes any amount " a lot " . Injection is a very bad thing (for mercury). Another way to look at it is that your child got a similar amount of (injected) mercury as many many other kids--- including lots who got autism, and lots who didn't. Below I will quote from http://tlredwood.home.mindspring.com/index.htm (I'm not sure if this URL will " work " for you or not.) ================================================================ In June 1999, the Food and Drug Administration discovered that " Infants who receive thimerosal containing vaccine at several visits may be exposed to more mercury than recommended by Federal guidelines for total mercury exposure. " Thimerosal, a preservative used in some vaccines to prevent contamination, is 49.6% mercury by weight. Infants who are being vaccinated using multi-dose vials with thimerosal can receive 62.5 micrograms of mercury per visit. For an average sized child this represents an exposure approximately 100 times the 0.1 micrograms per kilogram of daily exposure considered safe by the Environmental Protection Agency. The manufactures safety data sheet for thimerosal states, " Highly toxic…Danger of cumulative effects…Avoid prolonged or repeated exposure… and the Chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated. " ================================================================= (The above is from Lyn Redwood's " old " website. Her " newer " website is NOT working -- I get 404 " page not found " . http://www.autism treatment.com ) Lyn Redwood is one of the founders of Safe Minds, and she started this list. Guest guest
1 ml = 1 cc. They are the same unit of volume. ml is milliliter, cc is cubic centimeter.
