AAOS clubfoot fact sheet updated

I was glad to see that the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons

recently updated its online fact sheet on clubfoot to reflect the

growing use and understanding of the Ponseti method. Previously it

had been much more focused on surgery as the almost inevitable course

of action.

I was especially encouraged to read the statement " surgery will

likely result in a stiffer foot than nonsurgical treatment,

particularly as the years go by " in this fact sheet. Now if they

would only include a link to this list!
