Guest guest
This is the truth. Before I started taking Armour, my breasts were oh so sore all the time(I guess from being hypo maybe?) I have been on Armour since Nov.1 2004 and my breast are no longer sore. Does that make since? Not on any HRT!!!
Guest guest
Hi Betty, Yes, this makes perfect sense. I didn't think about it until I saw your post, but I'm the same way. Sore boobs until shortly after I started taking Armour....they don't hurt anymore. I've been on Armour about two months. Deb :-) Betty Flager wrote: This is the truth. Guest guest
You were probably already in Estrogen Dominance, and increasing the good treatment of Armour competes with the estrogen for receptor sites. You may have cut down the use of the estrogen in your body to a normal. About breast tenderness!!! > > > This is the truth. Guest guest
It can all be confusing. I started on progesterone cream last March. I, too, read Lee's book and was impressed with the way it helps the thyroid, is good to counter the negative effects of estrogen, etc. I am peri and my estrogen has dropped enough to cause a few hot flashes and some missed periods. On the cream, I had sore breasts for 6 months straight, even though I stopped for 5-7 days a month!! Finally got off the cream in Sept. for 14 days. Did the trick to remove the tenderness. Restarted with even less than 1/4 tsp. Did fine. But this time, after only being on it for just over a week, the soreness is returning. Sigh. Perhaps I am one who needs NEITHER estrogen or progesterone. Guest guest
No, I did not have sore breasts before starting the cream. But it still can be beneficial for you to try the cream, and put it directly on your breasts. You might get benefit where I did not. Guest guest
Well, I've been on Armour since June and I still have horrible breast tenderness for 2-3 weeks before each cycle. It gets so bad sometimes I want to cry -- waaaaa. I guess I'm lacking something somewhere else, i.e. progesterone, perhaps? > Hi Betty, > > Yes, this makes perfect sense. Guest guest
Hi there , The best ways for me to know if I'm hypo is to ask my breasts! If they are a bit swollen or painful it's my first hypo sign!!! The pain can be so bad that even the inside of my arm touching my breasts is so painful that I feel like crying too. I actually cried sometimes while falling asleep. I can have this pain the entire month, not only as a pms-symptom. Ofcourse my doctor said I should learn to live with it. When I'm hyper according my bloodwork, (suppressed TSH, Ft3 slightly over the range)I do NOT have painful breasts at all. My pms-breasts symptoms vanishes also. I also do not feel hyper at the same time. This breastproblem can be solved!!! Margreet. > > Hi Betty, > > > > Yes, this makes perfect sense.
