Guest guest
My apologies if someone already answered your question... I'm on digest version. I've decided to just respond to a specific post if I have something to add instead of reading all the responses and then trying to relocate the original post! Anyhoo, I didn't find this list until AFTER Zoe had adjusted to the DBB, so I didn't know that the clubfoot heel is not formed properly but after wearing the shoes for awhile, it becomes formed and the shoes don't come off anymore. I was putting that shoe (never her " normal " foot shoe) back on AT LEAST 12 times a day, sometimes every 5 minutes! I thought I would go insane. Then one day after a few weeks, I realized that I had not had to fix the shoe AT ALL that day and the next and the next and had no idea why they stopped falling off, until I found this list! She started in the shoes at 3 months old, so it wasn't because she was only a few weeks old or the shoes were too big. Hope this helps, Joanne W. mom to Zoe (3-25-01, right clubfoot) Message: 11 Date: Sat, 15 May 2004 04:15:25 -0000 Subject: HELP! Just got the DDB...it stinks!! First of all...our son is only 10 weeks..so he is still in his pumpkin seat. His bar doesn't fit down properly...and it causes he feet to slide up and almost out of the shoes. On top of that, we can barely hold him without his feet slipping as well. We have checked and they are as tight as we can get them. ANy ideas? I am going to call Dr. DObbs on Monday...but man this sucks. He had his last set of casts taken off today, and it was the worst! He cried so hard. His feet are torn apart...dry skin, torn skin, redness...it just looks awful. I cired most the day. He hurts so much. I swear I can't wait until the 3 months of 23/7 is over. Ok...I'll stop whining now. :-) Thanks for listening. _________________________________________________________________ Watch LIVE baseball games on your computer with MLB.TV, included with MSN Premium! http://join.msn.click-url.com/go/onm00200439ave/direct/01/
