I was doing research and found (on my local bariatric's website) that anyone with Lupus or taking Prednisone would NOT be approved for this surgery. Well, I thought - " fine, I guess the decision was made for me! " Then after hearing from you and Cindi that it is possible and you both had positive results...it makes me want to investigate further. I have an appt. April 6th and will talk to my doctor then. No matter what I decide...thank you for sharing your experience. The last email I got from was about WLS and her asking me to be very careful and think long and hard before doing it....can't help but remember her words every time I think WLS.
