Experience with correcting facial asymmetries using a helmet

My daughter will receive her helmet next week. She has moderate

plagiocephaly and quite a bit of facial asymmetrie. One of her eyes is

bigger than the other, one cheek is puffier, and her ears are off.

Does anybody have any positive or negative experiences in correcting

this with the use of a helmet? How long did it take? And how much

better did it get? She is almost 8 months right now and I am really

worried that it won't correct even with the helmet. She will wear a

Hanger helmet, in case that makes a difference.

Thanks for all of your answers.

Tina
