Happy New Year!!!!! Hope everyone had a good holiday season and is hanging in there doing the best you can. Thanks for all the Christmas cards. I really enjoyed getting them ...even the late ones. It's fun to get mail when you hardly get out isn't it. I've had a really busy two weeks with my Marine son and his wife home. I even let him have a '21st' birthday party....and all that entails...if you know what I mean. There's been alot of drinking here for the holidays(now that he's legal)....I even had a wine-cooler or two. Don't worry...they only had 3% alcohol and I had it with some snacks. They were having yagermeisters(sp?). Gross...a shot of this licorice liquor in a beer I think. it smelled nasty. I went to a wedding, too. Why oh why do people get married at such a crazy time of year?! anyway it was nice

to see people I hadn't seen in a while. I haven't been this happy in a long long time. My husband even got a Big Christmas bonus which really helped with all the extra company and doings going on. But all the goodies left in the house are getting thrown out or put in the basement freezer the day they leave. I have got to get back on my diabetic diet. I felt alot better when on it. I really think being on it for the last three months is what gave me the energy to do all I've done before, during and after Christmas. But now I'm REALLY tired and need to rest... so off to bed I go and hope everyone is doing well on this new day of a new year. 2006 write it on the first ten checks in your checkbook until you get used to it...lol. It helps...it really does. lol at least for us with jello brains lol hugs
