Guest guest
**Does anyone know or remember the comments that were said a little back about the dentist????** As for the Endo doctor__yes they are giving a name of a new doctor from the medical university__I just don't know how new she is or her experience with Thyca. Maybe I can do a consultation with her. If anyone knows of any other doctor in the ton, SC area...I would love to know. Also, are there any thyca support groups in or around ton? Seeking your help, Janet Re: Dentist question & my update on life As per finding dr, I think your best bet is to call internal med clinics at med schools. you can find some great dr that way, though not all take new patients. can your old dr make a referral? > Hello everyone, > > Sometime just recently, someone in thyca said that if you go to the dentist to mention that you have thyca. > I went to the dentist today and mentioned it__and didn't really know why I had to mention it. Guest guest
Apologies if this comes thru twice. Think I hit the wrong button the 1st time. > **Does anyone know or remember the comments that were said a little back about the dentist????** Hi Janet I think that may have been me who said that you should mention it to your dentist that you are/have been treated for thyca involving RAI. I'm not sure to the reasoning as to why we should mention this to our dentist I was just told by my Nuc Med Dr to avoid the dentist and hairdressers for 3 weeks after ingesting the RAI. The only thing I can think of is in relation to the dentist is that if you're having fillings (cavities) they tend to give you a different type of anaesthetic whilst your off meds. Sorry I can't be of much help. Kathy (UK)
