No they did not put the mask on my face. He said I was "low" on the oxygen, but not low enough for the mask. I guess the restless leg problem is what is causing me to not sleep well. Dot"Sharon L. When you did your sleep study, did the also put the cpap or apap with a mask on your face? If so you need to know your pressures. There is an excellent CPAP forum at http://cpap.com We dicuss the best treatment, machines, masks humidifiers and hose covers and heated hose. You may want to drop by and visit. Sharon L. Anyway, that is why I am exhausted in the morning- I do not get enough REM sleep. I haven't seen the Dr. yet about this. Is there over the counter meds for this? Is there something simply like "eat a banana"? I would appreciate any information on this. Dot Yahoo! Photos – Showcase holiday pictures in hardcoverPhoto Books. You design it and we’ll bind it! Dot, my episodes were not that many according to my last study, but the doctor said I had enough to warrant the machine, so now I am a hose head. That is what we call ourselves. I am now sleeping through the night, my Rquip is keeping my legs under control, and I am finally waking up refreshed. Some times doctors do not want to understand us or the studies, so on the one forum I am on we all say find a new doctor. I was treated for Narcolepsy when in all actuality I had sleep apnea the whole

time. Good Luck Sharon L. Schuckman Dot wrote: No they did not put the mask on my face. He said I was "low" on the oxygen, but not low enough for the mask.
