Recovery is different for a hemi, as full resurfacing replaces both sliding surfaces of the joint. I am a Beaule believer, and am now walking short distances without my cane, and can see the path for a complete recovery is possible. Before my surgery I could not walk, and felt like I was falling off of my hip when I took a step if I tried. My hip went bad amazingly quickly, it scared me badly that my life was essentially over, but with the support of the people closest to me and Beaule's skilled current technology approach, my life is much better than it was 90 days ago.
