I agree, lets all keep busy. Those demon thoughts do happen when we are too

focused on our aches and pains. Springtime, fresh air. I am planting

flowers... and am doing a garden this year. Yeah, never have done that before.

Jennie, I know what you mean having projects to keep our minds off

the cancer. It does help to stay busy. I try to get into my projects

on my off weeks of chemo. I think it also helps build me up again. It

does my mind wonders to see the improvements. Just stay busy. It

fights all the bad thoughts. Of course then everyone tells me I do

too much. But this is a good thing to stay busy. Ingrid-

Hi Jay,

Yes and another way to avoid the " future hole " is to get in the habit of

saying (like a mantra) Now, and now, and now, and now, and now (and keep

doing it until you get in the presentwhich is of course " the now " .
