He said we should just go cold turkey. I explained to him that was a bad idea, and he finally (albeit reluctantly) agreed. I wasn't planning on giving up my one diet Coke/Pepsi a day though. I know it has caffeine in it, but now I wonder if it's going to bother me when I'm off my morning caffeine entirely. I also drink (occasionally) some teas that have caffeine, and some that don't. Actually, I'm not suppose to have caffeine on the atkins but if I don't have at least one cup of coffee with it and 6 oz. of DD Pepper, I get severe headaches. A sign of caffeine withdrawl. Autumn, if you've been drinking that much coffee and even having reduced it, you might want to gradually go from regular to decaf. I wouldn't recommend going cold turkey for sure.
