Guest guest Posted August 5, 2003 Report Share Posted August 5, 2003 HI ladies, I am just 9 weeks today, and midwife heard a heartbeat. She said that the only people she has been able to detect a heartbeat at 9 weeks were multiples. She suspects I am further along, or have twins. I have an ultrasound scheduled on Thursday just to see. I have not had any blood work done, so I don't know HCG levels. The only other thing I notice that is different than with my others is that I am much more tired. I get exhausted so easily. But that may well be becasue I am just pregnant and have 4 other boys (aged 9, 7, 5, and 3) that I am homeschooling, etc. Makes sense to be tired. Were any of your OBs able to hear the heartbeat at 9? What about you ladies with twins and more. Coiuld they hear earlier? I suppose it won't do any good to be excited or scared about anything until Thursday. I am just curious if I should even think about this as a possibility. Thanks. I was wishing for twins, but I'm sure there is only one in there, even though I am exhausted all the time. We have a lot in common. I am pregnant with my 5th and I homeschool my brood.
