Hi,

As some of you may know...I am dealing with cholestrol and associated

cramps from the medication. One thing that has happened since the

last post is that I have started some moderate excercise (treadmill)

and the cramps seem to have subsided. I am just hoping that it will

stay that way as it does not seem to be as influenced by cholesterol

drugs (I had some cramps even when I started Pravachol replacing

Lipitor). At least that is the current story for me.

In any case, when I was browsing the web, I found the following

statement interesting. May be most of you have heard of this...but I

do not know how I missed this information before (never heard this

from my Doctors)..and also that it helps protect kidney function.

Regards,

Bhanu

" Patients with IgA nephropathy often have high cholesterol. Reducing

cholesterol--through diet, medication, or both--appears to help slow

the progression of IgA nephropathy. "
