6 month check up- not so good

We went for Christian’s 6 month check up today. He is 16 lbs and 27 ½ “

long. That is good except for his head which is still measuring large. It

doesn’t look that big to me…but then again..I am not a doctor. Anyway, we

have been referred to a Pediatric Neurologist and Christian is going for an

Ultrasound of his head on Monday morning. I guess I will take it from

there.

Our friend's daughter had, what the drs. considered a large head,

everything was fine on further tests. It is good to have it checked,

but chances are everything is fine. Let us know how it goes!

same here, some people just have big heads. In fact, I was looking at a

picture of my friend and me (with the kids) when we visited in '01 who'se

daughter had this same u/s and I swear, the little girl's head is much

bigger than my son's in the picture (they are the same age) and her mom's

head is at least twice the size of mine! I was thinking, when she said

they had big heads she wasn't kidding! I'm sure it'll be fine :~}

I am really feeling much better about this. I just don’t know why my doctor

has to make a big deal out of it. I think I just make kids with big heads!

I will let you know what happens.
