I needed that time to recover but to also figure out how to get my protein and water into my body. I imagine if you physically feel well enough to go back to work then you should but you should also have a meal plan for the day. The best way I have found for me is deciding the night before what I will eat, how much protein the meals consist of, when I will eat... and then follow the plan.
