Guest guest
My second resurf took place at 7am (GMT), January 6th, in Ghent with Dr De Smet's team. Sixty hours later I am home in the UK (thank you Channel Tunnel) and thinking this is just first class. Do I get the Guinness Book of Records entry for the shortest resurf hospital visit? Chris. Guest guest
Hi, Great to hear you are doing so well......... but sorry I suspect you will find that a certain doctor in Sydney Australia (not mine) turns patients around through the process of Resurfacing even faster.......... smile. It seems to be a process that lends itself to short hospital stays if there is no complications such as bone grafts or difficulties preop.......... Guest guest
I was under anaesthesia 6-8 hours ine. I was quite dopey all that day. The actual operation was around 2 hours I think, possibly less. The pain is minimal (with grateful thanks to Indocid).
