Guest guest
A good doctor with a good program will know how to instruct the hospital correctly on what to feed you. My surgeon is well experienced, and even so, I was given regular jello in the hospital. I asked why we were given that, and was told that diabetic jello was available, but that they just gave us the regular because we eat so little in the beginning anyways. But I know for me, the regular jello just seemed too sweet. I usually just did the chicken broth and the juice. My advice would be to discuss this with your surgeon beforehand or maybe someone at the hospital. Good luck. Jeanne in WI Age 39 Open RNY 05/21/2002 314/ 222/150-175 5' 8 " djgraves@...
