When you say Central Jersey do you mean the

Monmouth/Ocean County area or more like Union/Essex?

I don't know where you are located... I got to Dr Altomare. He is in

Clinton and Flemington. Phone # . He is a surgeon and

Ob/gyn so he can perform your myo if need be. The thing I like about

him is he works with you - I have been trying some herbs and

acupuncture – and he works through it with you. The only negative

thing is his nurse Donna likes to talk to you. And unless you

request for Dr to call you back with a question – you get Donna

calling you and relaying messages back and forth. So if you have

questions make sure you request the Dr call you back. And usually it

will take a day or two to call you back unless you say it is an

emergency. Like this week – I called the office on Monday, then

Tuesday, then fax a bleeding chart on Wednesday and he called me late

Wednesday – but he said he did not get my other messages. But he

answers all your questions.

I am not sure if he is in your area or too far away – but he is my

3rd Dr and I like him.

Good luck and good health

I loved my doctor in West Orange (Essex County). Dr.

Pitman. She used to work with her father Dr.

Roth, who passed away last year but was an

excellent OB/GYN. I got her name 5 years ago from my

cousin who works for Tap Pharmaceuticals (the company

that sells Lupron). They said that she was the best

in the area when it came to fibroids. She did my

myomectomy in March 1999 and removed 15 tumors, 7 of

which were very large. I just got married and

conceived within 1 month after going off the pill. I

have to think that she had something to do with that

since she performed a great surgery! She practices

with 2 other female physicians, Dr. Klatchko and Dr.

Jeung. I liked Dr. Klatchko who would see me when Dr.

Pitman was not in but I didn't like Dr. Jeung. I

thought she was too young and didn't really relate to

how I was feeling. Good luck!
