Guest guest
Hey-- I'm interested! My son is 5 and has been chelated with DMSA/ALA for about 40 rounds so far...not much progress, but some. He was not vaccinated, but still regressed (possible lead exposure????). Nothing seems to be coming out...maybe he is not metal toxic???? We have completed 22 treatments with HBOT and have not really seen much there, either. When did you start seeing things and what exactly is going on??? Guest guest
, I couldn't help but notice that you are using DMSA and ALA. I do you know nothing is coming out??? Are you doing urine or stool sampling. For the past few months, our doc wanted to give chelation a rest but I said no way - I wanted to see what my son's stools were doing - the mercury was coming out there as well lead and uranium. The urine showed nothing or very little. The doc was surprised but I kept saying that Andy's book says ALA will dump through the stools not urine. Guest guest
We were using both DMSA/ALA using Andy's protocol for about 42 rounds. We did not do any testing other than hair. I am going by his behavior...we see a little progress, but not much. Maybe I am expecting too much??? My friend has only done 9 rounds and is already seeing some progress...maybe the problem is lead (my son) vs. mercury (her son). My son was not vaccinated and was probably exposed to lead :0(. I am trying EDTA now to see if it will pull metals from another area so maybe we can get some substantial progress. I feel like he is stuck! Guest guest
I saw little progress with DMSA at the beginning of chelation. I used DMSA and the DMSA was so busy tackling the lead that it had no time for the mercury, which I didn't even know was present since my son did not meet the counting rules. By chance, fate or divine intervention, I started using DMPS and starting seeing more progress. Urine testing on DMPS (Andy's protocol) indicated mercury coming out. while the lead is toxic and needs to come out, it was removing the mercury, for my son, that resulted in gains in development. My gut feeling would be to stick with chealtion a while longer. If you don't have access to DMPS, you'll just have to wait until the DMSA has cleared the lead so that it can attack the mercury. Guest guest
We started seeing things around Session 20 or so. Loosening of spasticity (he has mild CP), brighter eyes, better tracking, and what seems to be the waking up of his proprioceptive (deep muscle) sensation. So far, so good . .. .
