Guest guest
Too cool, Chris! I've been wondering how you've been and was meaning to bend your ear once again. May is still wide open! Especially glad to hear that you're once again terrorizing the wrong side of the road! I think a beer or two might work for the sleeplessness...don't know what to suggest with the sore ankle. I've been flying around here as if by magic, but then I think Koen has that effect on all of us sooner than later. I have to tuck in my young son, so I'll post again soon. Take good care, Warmest regards to you and Frances! Steve Bilat BHR De Smet Jan 6, 2994 > So five and a half weeks after my second resurf I feel as if I'm hitti > ng the home straight. Guest guest
Having just 'taken-the-waters' in a spa town in Switzerland (mineral hot springs) for 4 days, I recommend a hot bath just before bed for sleeplessness. Guest guest
Bonjour Chris so glad to hear that you " have turned the corner " . and that you are already thinking of rock climbing! I am following your steps, just a bit behind you... I can see and feel that I will turn that corner soon but I am not driving yet and still relying on that old crutch but some nights have been a bit better. Last night we had a very fun gathering of Vancouver hippies hosted by Pam and Cliff and that was great to meet our " colleagues " and talk about all our adventures. Continue your good recovery Sunita R BHR 6 Jan 04 De Smet Progress after 2nd Resurf So five and a half weeks after my second resurf I feel as if I'm hitti ng the home straight. I can drive again - yippee. My exercises are really paying off in terms of increased ROM and decreased pain. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter and closer. Still got sleepless nights. Still got a sore ankle some of the time on the operated side but it looks as if that old De Smet magic is going to work its spell again. Can't tell you how much of a relief it is. Come April I'm going to start rock climbing again and then, world, like Arnie, I'll be back! Chris.
