Guest guest
Lyn - I'm really sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time. Is there anything I can do to help. Dspite my silliness of late, I actually am a pretty good listener. Barbara

Guest guest
Lyn - Please always remember that there's no need to keep the feelings inside about how havng RSD is effecting you. While we all have our down days there's always at least one person, and usually a heck of a lot more, that can be there for you. The emotional impact of having this can sometimes be as painful as the physical aspects. Barbaralynlorraine wrote: Thank you Barbara and Pam for your kindness and concern. It is all just too fast for me. The spreading and increase of pain and lack of mobility is shocking. All of you are wonderful and I'm sure I will settle down and develop some sense of objectivity as time goes by and recover my wits if I have any left at that time. And ,I'd looking forward to reading the never ending story created by these great minds on in this group. It has been one whopper so far! Good good girls! Maybe it could be published and fund a research project for the "cure to RSD" Lyn> Lyn - I'm really sorry to hear that you're having such a difficult time. Is there anything I can do to help. Guest guest
Cathy, I have raynard's syndrome and have since I can remember back. I have had mri's of the head and x-rays but no one has mentioned any abnormality in shaping of it or anything at all. i do have tons of auto-immune dosorders...But I am Dark hair and Dark skin...Mostly Irish..A little Italian...But have more of a Black Irish look then Italian in most ways. I agree there must be a correlation and predispodistion. I know people who have crushed almost every bone in the body in motorccle accidents that don't get RSD..but with a cervicle sprain i got RSD...Makes no sense at all. fishthatsmiles@... wrote: ok i have a weird question. a long time ago when i was first dianosedwith rsd i asked what caused this. i was told i ama diabetic, havethroid problems, have raynauds. so something came up and they x rayedmy head. they scratched their head. they said the skull n the backand base of head in normal people are round. mine comes from ear t earand goes into a point. like a ducks tail. well m father had ankleproblem. this lead to head x ray. same type of head injusry. to makestory short my brother and sister has the same problem. so out of 7 ofus there are 4 with rsd and the same shape hea. also. 3 out of four ofus are blonde and fair skin. does any of this have any thing in commonfor people that are predisposed to rsd. also. whay are there peoplethat are in horrible accidents like car crashes. they do not seem to getrsd . but the minor injuries do. so plese figure this one out and putthis on you list. thank you cathy
