Guest guest
I'll add a little to Donna's question...would mercury cause a weird birthmark type mark to appear on the skin? Back in 1997 I developed a weird mark on my collarbone..red..1 inch..looks like a birthmark...my husband calls it the star trek symbol as it looks exactly like the emblem the star trek characters have on their suits...Anyways...Dermatologist just said it's a vascular thing...he said it's not cancer...it's harmless... So I am curious about pigmentation on skin due to mercury also. JTF
Guest guest
Interesting topic for my family. My son has very large mongolian spots (blueish puple) on his bottom and lower back. My dad and grandfather- who are both intensly bi-polar have spots- allthough they have the red marks as you described. Funny enough- I don't have any. [ ] Pigmentation So I am curious about pigmentation on skin due to mercury also. JTF
Guest guest
Isn't this common in various racial groups? Guest guest
My son has a dozen of small spider nevi on his arms and hands. My pediatrician said it is spider nevi because when you press it with your finger it desappears. I have been looking into this and could not find anything, it really looks like a veine problem. I've read some things about spieder nevi and liver issues but from blood work my son's liver seems fine. Doctors say it is harmless, but he keeps getting more and the ones he has are growing so if you have any info please share... Thanks, > I'll add a little to Donna's question...would mercury cause a weird > birthmark type mark to appear on the skin? I do a fair amount of genealogy research- and have never come across this.. But you never know. My son and I are pretty dark- we are mistaken for being hispanic- and my dads family is dark too- funny enough-they are from the Netherlands.
