Wonderful news! Your new wings, or should we say wheels?!?! By spring, you

should be in the community again! Do you have a Van? I'm trying to figure out

which ramps to get. Some are too heavy for me, the light ones are very pricey.

This is great, and to think you didn't have to fight. Hope you get it quickly.

I can get a wheelchair-finally !! :)

After nearly 5 years of putting off asking the doctor about a wheel chair, I

**finally** got up the courage a couple months ago, but he didn't answer one way

or the other.

A month later he sent me to a therapist for some knee, hip, back issues

instead.

The therapist said I really needed a W/Chair -YIPPEEE! He even figured out it

should be electric without me saying a word! On the first visit no less- to

evaluate what's going on.

I'm so thrilled to be able to have it especially for long distances. I can't

wait to go to the mall again- and not be in agony before I get to the doors!!

Cindy, that is WONDERFUL!!! I just know thatyou are sooo excited. You must be

planning all kinds of field trips. I would be thinking of all the state parks

and historic places and all kinds of wonderful cool and bigggg places to go!!

I love the fact that the pt immediately told you and the doctor you needed

one!!
