I sure may look like a foolish person again Lori, but just am not up to date by any means on who is new, or what going on. Has been this way for few months and does not seem to be getting better as still over 400 emails not seen. But since there are other Lori's on here but none that I know of with the history you spoke of, am thinking you and I have not met, or not written but once awhile back.

Please forgive me if have spoke with you and forgotten, sure do not mean in any way to hurt your feelings. Just interested in knowing you and bringing into my life the one huge Blessing on the Digest, a new Friend whom we can share interest, phone each other, and have someone we know cares and understands just what we are dealing with.

I saw you offered to write others if we wanted to write to your private email but I do not know what your private email is. Would you mind giving that to me? Sounds really sad Lori about the children. Do not understand their going back to birth mother....are all 3 children adopted or did they come with your ex-husband and he had custody of them? Hope that is okay to ask. Well, shall let you go and would enjoy hearing from you. Hope your day is filled with Gods Peace and little pain.

Hi Lori,

Wow it sounds like you have had some pretty stressful times in your life as each of us have had. I believe that isolation is a very bad thing and can lead to some major depression.

I have only had RSD for 1 1/2 years will be 2 in June, my doctor is quite concerned because it has now spread over to my right leg and there are some days that my right leg hurts more than my left, my left knee is where the this all started.

I love this group, but hate the reason why we are all here. But to look at a positive thing, it has given me a chance to meet some wonderful and caring people, who I feel very blessed to have gotten the chance to know.

I agree with you that your life and how you defined yourself was gone after this hit.

I know how hard it is to have your Life come to a sudden halt. I have worked since I was 11, babysitting, was working full time by 14, moved out at 18, and buying my own house before I was 20. I would work 2 jobs at a time, one for bills, one for savings and fun. In 94 at age 28 I was in a major car accident which stopped my life totally. I was married, had 3 children, one three and 6. Less than 4 mos. before had moved into my Dream house and was hit almost head on in my brand new car by a full size truck. I had worked in the medical field since I was 18 1/2. Before my 30 th B-day I was pronounced total and permanate by the State. My now x-husband had me served in 2000 with divorce papers. If you can imagine he couldn't deal with it anymore. I have no family, mine or his, 2 of the kids, oldest went back to birth mother, and have been progressivly getting worse. So I do understand about getting your sense of self from the work you do. The problem comes in when your isolated, Stressed to the point of having to meditate just to try to loosen up some of your muscles, and the hardest person on you just happens to be you. I can relate, and if I can I will help anyone with anything I can, I have to take it about an hour at a time, some days 5min at a time. I do however have a wealth of knowledge, I am here, I hate that the rest of you are here also. Anyone in the group is Welcome to privately E-Mail me at any time.
