I have not looked at how foods react to my bg. How does one get

started? Do you just write down everything you ate and then test 2

hours after? How do you know which food raised the bg?

That's exactly how you start, write down your food & then test. Start not at a

buffet but with pizza for dinner, no breadsticks, pasta only or something like

that. You can pretty much not worry about the zero & little about of carb food

& just focus on the high carb stuff. My biggest problem isn't figuring out how

food effects my BS but WHEN it effects my BS. Best of luck. I'll tell you now,

it's a never ending learning process.
