Guest guest
Hey Rhea, How would it be if e-mailed you? She is not the daughter who I was talking about getting her day reduced. That's , and she's in the 9th grade. is my older daughter, (17) who missed so much school due to her lung collapsing 3 times, and many other medical problems. She's also been on home hospital for the last 6 weeks. So, now she's faced with going back to school, and she's just worried that she's not gonna know what's going on, which I agree with. She's just gonna be floundering. So, she's going to go to a different school, where she can do credit restoration on independent study. It's like a new kind of alternative school. It was started for home schoolers. Now, it's 80% home schoolers, and 20% kids who need credit restoration. It's not a typical " alternative high school " for screw offs. But, she can't start at this school until probably mid April. So, until then, she's gonna have to go to her current high school, and do what she can do. Anyway, she's facing being in school longer than the rest of the kids. She is suppose to be a junior this year, but only has the credits to be a sophmore. She's gonna be 18 in Sept, so she's much older than most of the kids in her grade allready. Anyway, I think it would be great if she could e-mail with someone whose going through the same crap that she is. We live in Seattle. So, here's her e-mail address - lbyrnes17@... Could you write her? She could use some support in all this. Thanks,
