Guest guest
I never get off work early enough to watch Oprah. I wish I had known about it so I could record it though. From: peterwhitaker@... To: iga-nephropathy Sent: Friday, April 22, 2005 2:55 PM Subject: Oprah - (slightly OT) Did anyone see Oprah yesterday with Cojo (ex Today Show) and the filming of him before and after kidney transplant? Even though not from IGAN found it pretty interesting. Was amazing that his best freind had a kidney that was a perfect match. His BP was 200/100. I also did not know that you cannot see any of your pets for 3 weeks after a transplant. W
Guest guest
How many guesses do we get, Pierre, to answer this question for you? :-) If I get a vote I would have her get you both, but kidney first. Guest guest
I thought it was a great show and my first thought was the publicity that this would generate for organ donation. Who doesn't watch Oprah? and if she says to be a donor than many people will sign donation cards. The only negative I saw was that it seemed to make finding a kidney an easy task. I was surprised that he went home from the hospital the next day - Wow. , mom to , 8 PS I also watched you on people's court. Guest guest
I'm sorry I missed this one. It sounds like a great show. Wasn't it just 2-3 months ago we were all talking about how we would like to use the Oprah show to raise consciousness about kidney disease? Guest guest
: uh-oh. My dog was with me 3 days after (and ever since). I was told that the only issues were with kitty litter boxes and birds. peterwhitaker@... wrote: Did anyone see Oprah yesterday with Cojo (ex Today Show) and the filming of him before and after kidney transplant?
