Guest guest
On another note: Hi Barb;-) You wouldn't happen to be related to anyone in Midland, MI? I know my in-laws have spoken about a before and I thought we may have a small world thing going. Joe and I and the kids are headed up to Lake Anne near City next week to meet his family. If you live near by we might be able to hook up and talk RSS. I know Joe's family has some things planned but maybe we could work around them. let me know. -- Jovanovich ****Please note - our NEW e-mail address laura@... I would say there are different techniques for different ages. If she is a toddler, we found one type of baby food my son liked and he ate it all the time. He ate bites when we walked in the stroller, and I still have him take his food along so he can nibble on it. Older children can be told to eat but I am guessing that you have a baby or toddler since you said she throws the food. Other things you might want to consider is the temperature and or texture of the food. Some RSS kids are very sensitive to these things. Others have found distraction works, like in front of a TV, but some parents don't like to do that. Lastly I would suggest that you keep an eye on her sugar levels if she is truly not eating or drinking anything for a 24 hour period. I assume that you know these kids can get hypoglycemic. At the convention we also heard from a nutritionist who had some good ideas for retraining these children to eat correctly. I'm sure has the names of the two women that spoke. If not you might want to contact Quisenberry, she got the name of the nutritionist. Pattie

Guest guest
Well I went back to bed and slept all day, woke up and it was gone, have not had the pain since. the back feels fine, and the walking is good, is this weird or what? Do some of you ever have anything like this, I know a lot of you spend most of your time in bed, pain, or unable to walk, weak?? I do see my doc soon, and will tell him about this, but now that it has passed, they will say, well it's gone............. And I never go to the er, but I know never say never, I have been very blessed, when I need the er I call my doc and he just meets me, like another area of the hosp, then does o.p orders, which saves me a great deal of money. Thanks for responding to my email!! If it happens again, I will call the doc. Marla Re: I NEED HELP it doe NOT feel like a back injury and did not do anything that brought on instance pain.
