Saunas & (Not) Sweating?

My adult son has started to go to a sauna with his assistant for

about 10 minutes at a time. I asked if he sweat in there, and the

assistant said no he didn't sweat.

Anyone have any advice? Is it still good for him to go in there for

short amounts of time? Is there a site with good info about this?

Thanks,

AutMom

Quote from the FAQ:

>>Saunas—Andy: " Sauna has been used to detox mercury miners since

time immemorial - when they get too messed up, they go to the sauna

during work hours instead of into

the mine shaft. " " Sweating does indeed increase mercury excretion.

Probably an hour or

two of sauna is the same as 50 mg of DMSA every 4 hours for a day. "

Note: Posters urged caution with saunas because mercury toxic people

are often heat sensitive.<<

Hi , both of my sons had this problem they would never sweat also their urine

did not have any smell at all. I started giving them a bath three times a week.

With the following :

2 cups epsom salt

1cup baking soda

20,000 mg vitamin C powder

6,000 mg Lysine powder or (crushed tablets)

10, 000 mg Taurine

The epsom salt gives them the sulfer magnisum the taurine also helps with sulfer

tranfer issues. The baking soda purifies and opens the pores.. Vitamin C and

Lysine helps to stimulate the Adrenal glands. Both of my kids now sweat normaly

and their urine smells like urine. I saw results after the first bath. They are

ages 3 and five. Both ASD one moderate one severe.. Hope this helps your son.

Does the sauna pull metals out of the body?

When I was first using saunas and didn't sweat, I was told to

take potassium. It worked great, and I've sweated well ever

since in the sauna.

Best, jill
