Guest guest
Watch some comedy...lots of it! Try 'Scrubs'! Somethig bad might happen like a grand piano falling from the sky or freak lightning. But what are the odds? Eat some chocolate...i's good for you, honest! Someone told me dark chocolate contains iron! See the funny side in the situations and comments nurses make. Aztek
Guest guest
Hi I know where you are. I'm less than a week pre-myo. I'll be fine and not nervous and then all of a sudden a wave of anxiety comes over me. All of the what ifs. I know we'll both get through this okay. I'm thinking of you. --- sbstraus@... wrote: > O.K. Guest guest
Hi, I had my myo last Aug. and everyone is nervous about having surgery. My surgery was also in another state, so this was different. I also had my doc switched right before surgery. I felt I had no choice and this helped. If I wanted a life, I needed this surgery. Tell yourself you need this surgery. With proper pain meds, the pain is manageable. I went home in less than 24 hours. I went upstairs the day after surgery and posted to this group. Manage your pain and WALK! Walking helps. I'd get the bandage off as soon as I could. My bandage made my pain worse and caused blisters. Remove it with alcohol. I felt so much better not having the bandage pulling on my scar. I could sleep. No more fibroid, no more heavy bleeding! I kept getting stronger! I have a life now! My best wishes and prayers will be with you. You will get a new life, you can't ask for more! Ku
