Over here I am known for having a zoo.......I had to get rid of my very all time favorite though, when I was sick and I couldn't lift the tank to change the water....Pearl the turtle. I loved my turtle.....now we have the dwarf hamster, Julius a Chinese Water Dragon, and Zingy a striped gecko. Also, poodles Lacey and Liam, and the occasional wild mouse or mole lingering in the basement. We did have a white hamster " hammy' who got loose and lived for nine months in the basement. It was a sad day this past summer when we found him belly up in the pool. We thought he was long gone, but the boys kept insisting they seen him run under the couch and through a hole to the basement. I thought they didn't know what they were talking about, LOL!!!! During the summer we have far more wild specimens, but we only keep to observe and then let them go. Have you seen the cute tank tops they have on the Little Lily web page, they're called " Lilytanks " ... http://www.little-lily.com/ They are insanely expensive... The one I liked the most, is called " Bluebelt " . I actually found one on eBay, but lost the auction I so much wanted it for Peanut to wear as a wet T-shirt this summer, to keep her cool... I'll sew one for her instead, got the things I needed yesterday, including a cute plastic bracelet which you can put rhinestone " charms " on, and I will sew that on on the back, got a cute " P " with rhinestones to go on it... So it'll be as cute as the original, I am sure... But, I am such an idiot... Here I don't have the energy to do anything which I really need to get done here, but I go and buy things to make something for my dog instead... Oh well...
