RE: Exercise, weekly weigh in and hunger

YES I am most definitely healthier than when I do not exercise

regularly. I'm a 6 day a week exerciser. I stand up straighter, people

around me get sick, and I don't or I get such a mild version it doesn't

show. I sleep better when I am exercising regularly, and I've noticed

that as I go into finals (I'm an old lady who is going back to school to

pursue a dream) I am not so grouchy or stressed as others. Stress

doesn't go away, but I am better able to handle it because I have less

to worry about: like if I can handle that 2 hour calculus final, or the

50 hours of study required going into it. I also think that eating well

and exercise together are key to getting that healthy feel and outlook.

You should make a visit to your doctor to rule out any possible health

problems, like Anemia. Also, I took a class for my first degree 10

years ago, that taught how to handle stress. We discussed the link

between stress and sickness. I could go into the physiology, but you

might get bored, so just know there is a direct link. We worked a lot on

reducing stress through Tai Chi, exercise, meditation, hobbies. Making

sure that we understood that having time for ourselves is every bit as

important as having time for our children and our other activities.

I guess it depends on where you live. We just found out in joplin mo that our

weekly price would go up from 9.95 a week to 10.95 a week. I plan on buying the

cupon book of 10 when that happens and then the price is suppose to stay 9 per

meeting.

week. That's just about what it costs to go out to eat. And at

least there is no pushy sales pitch to eat WW food and buy other WW

products!
